Sometimes we wonder if we're doing anything significant in our lives. God created us for spiritual greatness. The Discipleship Academy will provide an opportunity for spiritual leaders to experience "balcony time" (seeing the big picture) to assess, reflect and to make intentional choices going forward. The format will include practical, experiential learning with input from various religious and cultural resources.
Our expectation is that participants will gain deeper understanding and broader insights into themselves, their congregations and the communities in which they serve. The expected result is spiritual leaders living transformed lives and leading transformational ministries.

The Academy will kick off on Sept. 27 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. in 8 locations. District Superintendents will be the keynote speakers. Saturday afternoon sessions will be the first of six classes for the "School of Church Leadership" and the "School of Certified Lay Ministers". Your selected class will continue for the next five weeks from 7 - 9:30 p.m. at the location and date you have chosen at the time of registration.
DISCIPLESHIP ACADEMY CHANGES AND SCHEDULE Discipleship Academy, a pilot program for the School of Church Leadership and the School of Certified Lay Ministers, will launch the first session Saturday, Sept. 27, with a kick-off at 9 a.m. followed by lunch and afternoon classes at the following locations. Registration is closed. Pre- registration is required for all classes.
Registration cost for each class in the "School of Church Leadership" is $35 per class per semester, payable at the time of online registration. Registration closes on September 15.
