The following Local Church Disaster Preparedness Manual has been updated based on the model currently being used by UMCOR (United Methodist Committee on Relief.) This document provides guidelines for dealing with a disaster from the earliest stages to the concluding phases of documentation and evaluation.
The following 66-page manual (in pdf format) has been prepared by the Baltimore-Washington Conference to provide information for churches on how to prepare for and response to disasters.
